Two surviving 1890s brick-built barrack blocks, a 1930s wooden barrack block from Queen Elizabeth Barracks, Church Crookham and Field Marshal Montgomery's 'barn' that house the museums military and local history collections. There is a large collection of military vehicles displayed either in the Montgomery Gallery or in the grounds of the museum.

  • Absolutely fascinating. Had a great 1/2 day there with the family
  • We loved this place. It's small but the attendants and volunteers are so enthusiastic. A range of some impressive tanks, transport and weaponry, some great local history, and some really interesting exhibits. Go and have a look. You can't go wrong for the entry price!
  • Parked right outside in our 17 seater Age Concern bus. Ramps to museum. Staff really nice. lots of interesting stuff to play with or read/look at. Cafe rather fun with machine. Made an alright cuppa. Snacks too. recommend a visit.
