  • Shops galore, talented crafts women and men, lovely and expensive clothes but hey just go and enjoy the atmosphere. Through June you may be able to get tickets to concerts as part of the Aldeburgh Mus...  more »
  • Plenty of boutique shops and some nice places to eat, but no 'history' of what the maltings were. Trendy but disappointing.  more »
  • We were on a weeks holiday in Suffolk, and this was our rainy day. This place has some interesting shops. We made several purchases. Well worth a visit.  more »

  • We stayed in one of the mews apartments here for a couple of nights and had a great time. Fantastic apartments. Great food shop selling lots of local produce (& beers). Nice restaurants, crafts shops and music hall. Nice bric-a-brac sale although it seemed items were priced high for the visitors. Great art installations make the Maltings pleasant to walk around and there are plenty of good walks from here.
  • This is a wonderful place to visit. You can take coffee or a full meal at three different places, shop for homewares, antiques and fresh food. Park up at the back and take a long walk down to Iken church and back or stick close the river and the reed beds. A wonderful day out that can cost as much or as little as you wish.
  • Lots of shops selling home furnishings, antiques, local crafts, clothes and cards. Different options for eating with restaurant and cafe. Lively place to spend an afternoon
  • Lots of tourist type shops, worth a visit if you're in the area.
  • We stopped off here today at The Granary Cafe for a cuppa - the place was heaving with people! Managed to find a couple of spare seats. They have a varied menu of both drinks and food although the jacket potatoes seemed popular with several people! There is another cafe in the main garden and home shop as well as one in the theatre and a pub so plenty of choices for somewhere to eat and drink after looking round the shops or walking by the river!
