  • Lovely quiet part of town to sit in the sun and waste a few hours. Plenty for the kids to do or just sit and enjoy the sun. The river is right there and provides some nice walks
  • It probably helped that I went to this place on a hot sunny day in September. It is a lovely place to sit and watch the river.
  • Great place for the kids to run around in a large fenced off area. Watch out for the river, and there's no fence to stop kids.
  • This is such a lovely park. There is a large field, big playground, children's paddling pool, ice-cream stall, cafĂ©, toilets and even an outdoor heated swimming pool. Perfect for having a picnic sitting next to the river, passing through the park, and worth a visit for tourists! There is a pay-and-display car park very close by (just past Waitrose).
  • Great for walks
