  • I visit the library every time I'm in Aberystwyth. The exhibitions - permanent and seasonal - are all illuminating, and the cafe and shop both very good.  more »

  • Terrific exhibitions. Good restaurant. Best shop in Aberystwyth. Great place to visit.
  • Holds and incredible number of books and archives. Simply brilliant.
  • It's really easy to find a book that you like and the view is amazing
  • The National Library of Wales archives are fantastic. I wasn't able to write this review earlier (when I was there) since the internet wasn't this elaborate. I was there during the mid-1990s. I was researching family records at the time. I was able to research original bishop records (with the appropriate care). Wow! What an experience. They have really preserved their records well (more than I can say about some Texas records only about 200 years old). Keep it up!
  • If you are looking for a book good odds say that this Library has it stocked. The reading room is quiet and a good work area for anyone studying, especially students looking to get there work done. Staff are always friendly and helpful, and the cafe is a nice place to get a bite to eat.
