  • Miles from any where no staff, no shop, no toilets. Just perfect peace. A Real Welsh Castle for a Welsh Prince to protect his cattle, ( not an English one to control the Welsh). Good information board...  read more »
  • These castle ruins is located slightly away from the classical tourist paths lonely in the hilly countryside. From the free car park, a nice walk leads to the ruins. Panels show the history and how it once looked like. Of course there are bigger and better preserved castles in Wales but by the wonderful environment just beautiful!

  • Went here 5years ago and what a tranquil and beautiful part of Wales it is. The castle is lesser known than Harlech or Caernarfon but must have been a magnificent sight.....
