  • Nice shop to wander round. Lovely to see the sheep in the field outside. Most assistants in shop were helpful.  more »
  • This place is very tatty and would give visitors to Scotland a very bad impression of the country (I'm reasonably local). Carpets are worn and soiled. A friend and I queued for a roll and bacon. We we...  more »
  • Strolling through this place we came across an unexpected treasure, a lady describing the various breeds of sheep, some horned, and a herding dog in action. Fascinating. Of course the site's store car...  more »

  • Typical store similar to the Edinburgh woollen mills. This one has a nice tea room and a great seating area outside close to the water. Worth a visit if in the area but I wouldn't say its worth making a specific visit for as there are alternatives in more accessable areas.
  • This is a superb place. There is a great mixture of shopping, viewing, learning and just having a great time. You can shop in the gorgeous Edinburgh woollen mill, you can enjoy some good food in the cafe, sit outside and enjoy the fresh air, view animals and just have a great time. We watched sheep getting sheered, the kids could run around and play in the play area or watch the animals, some would even come to be stroked and mum and dad can sit on the bench, enjoy a cool beverage and have some time to chat. The food is great, the service is good, seeing the animals and learning something about then is fantastic and you can buy some gorgeous clothes. We have been there a few times now and every time it was a great experience.
  • Wool center is full of Chinese tat passing itself of as Scottish. Sheep demonstrations interesting. Nice hand made products in two smaller shops nearby.
  • Best place to buy wool products, don't ever try to buy at other place before you come here.
  • The show with dog and ducks is adorable. Food is good.
