  • Dewar's Aberfeldy distillery is a tourist trap. This distillery buys malted barley, so there is no malting on site. Cask maturation was moved to Glasgow, and former maturing warehouse was used as a fi...  read more »

  • It was the first visit of a distillery and very informative for us. The guide was very good because very detailed. The lady has taken so much time to our questions and we are very happy - of course with a bottle of Aberfeldy single malt - come out of there. The exhibition was interesting and there was a leaflet with the German technical terms, which was very helpful for the leadership.

  • Très intéressant, very interesting!!! The Dewar's signature is one of the best scoth whisky ever :)
  • We enjoyed looking around museum it was very informative. Restaurant provided great coffee and whiskey fudge. The distillery was also very interesting and felt we had learnt a great deal about the making of whiskey. Came away with lots whiskey ready for the Christmas period. Everyone was very pleasant and helpful. A great visit.
  • Fabulous food in the cafe, just what you want to warm you up in the cold, then the tour itself. Theres an interactive area which talks you through much of the dewars history which is fabulous and very much worth trying. The tour guides are fun and educational and the tour itself is great. the bottle your own and taste from the cask areas are fabulous too, a great visitors experience
  • brilliant. we didn't expect to spend as long as we did here. the basic tour not only gave us a short cinema experience, a tour of the distillery/warehouse and access to the museum, but a wee snifter at the end to top it off! (all for 7.50 - bargain) there's a surprising amount of info and a few wee games (incl. a sniff test!!) well worth getting involved in their 'hi-tech' audio tour devices and having a proper listen round the museum. the food in the café was decent and the staff were well informed and super lovely. great wee afternoon oot.
  • Great experience overall, quite branded with a great visitors centre. No photography allowed
