  • Great park with lots going on for children. The café and ice cream shop are a great stopping place and fairly priced. A good day out for the family where play is free.  more »
  • The winter gardens is an oasis of calm, perfect to take a packed lunch or just to get out of the rain. A wealth of colour. A talking cactus and a frog for the kiddies and there is always the count how...  more »
  • This free visit, was a real moment of escape in the middle of multiple scents between exotic plants (banana...), through the cactus and this beautiful frog (not real) out of the water intermittently, having captured the attention of my son, children in general not to mention ' are adults by the way! This place is indescribable, so go there and soak in his way! Bravo and thank you.

  • Flat surfaces and ramps but far too steep for even a very active independent wheelchair user. Someone to push is essential, unfortunately. Otherwise, well worth the visit. A very well kept and beautiful garden.
  • Lovely garden near the centre of Aberdeen but the staff do need not to start packing up the chairs around you as you drink your coffee on your own half an hour from closing time! Lost you a star!
  • Truly fantastic place. Huge variety of plants. The gardens seem to be endless.
  • Open to everyone with an entry that only asks for a donation to contribute to the upkeep of the gardens. A great collection of plants in a glasshouse that is open all year round.
  • Free entry, various plants and small indoor ponds, cactus section is lovely, one cactus even talks!!! Nice warm walk during winter.
