I was in the gym last week. Very disappointed with the new cross trainers. They look very nice bright orange colour however not as good as the old ones. Very heavy to work on the pedals and i normally burn at least 680 calories within an hour with the old ones. This new ones are no use! i only burnt 200 calories in an hour. Also the shower room was very smelly. It smells like a rotten meat or a dead rat in the shower area. While having a shower there was a leak of cold water from the roof! I t is very unhygienic.
I love going swimming, going to the gym and a nice sauna it's cheaper if u buy a membership than paying individually that way u can go and when we want it's only £21 for a month for unlimited swimming, going to the gym wen u want and sauna great prices.. Very friendly people- staff
Great place to go swimming with children. Some additional baby changing facilities would be great though.
The pool is good fun, bit dated but good fun with wave machine, rapids and 1 free flume, and 3 bigger flumes that you pay extra for, but still worth it for a good time. Both me and my 6 year old daughter love it and spend a good few hours on the flumes. The gym, however is also very dated, but for a £25 a month membership it's not bad value, however I cancelled my membership after 2 weeks due to the cleanliness of one of the water coolers which put me off using the gym, but will certainly be a regular customer at the pool. Overall it does what it says, but could do with a refit.
Good for kids but rather expensive
