  • Visited here after going to the Swannery. Great fun and very enjoyable. Lots of interesting things to see, especially the birds of prey. Worth a visit
  • 1. Very expensive entry fee. 2. Poor quality and very expensive food - processed white bread, tinned soup, no fresh fruit , no squash for children. 3. Disappointing selection of animals. 4. An extra c...  more »
  • Lots of things for children to do better for younger children. Horse riding feeding sheep goats. Goat racing. Picnic areas outside. Inside play area. Cafe and shop. Car park pay all day or half day.

  • Went to Abbotsbury farm today. Lovely farm. With different things to do. Staff are lovely and helpful. We held owls, fed Guinea pigs l. Had pony ride. Soft play area in old barn. History on smuggling too. We really enjoyed today. Definitely best children farm in Dorset. Only thing I would say is definitely bring a picnic. As prices were very high!! For bottle of coca cola it was £2.25! Simple sandwich £4.95! Also have to pay for parking in village carpark. As only one to park in.
  • Would have given it 5 stars as our 6 year old had a great time seeing the animals, birds of prey and a great time in the soft play barn. But quite pricey for the adults. Very nice tea shop and everyone very friendly.
  • This place is great, loads for the kids to do and the two times we arrived just after opening we had the place to ourselves for a little whilst. The cafe selection was good, especially if you like a cake or two.
  • Lots of animals for toddlers to see, a bit pricey but decent value if you get the ticket for all 3 local attractions in one go; the swannery and tropical gardens too. It's all up close and sometimes hands on too, and a fairly busy cafe and soft play...
  • Good place to visit. Lots of animals and activities to do good indoor and outdoor activities available. Price is reasonable, but a bit on the expensive side. We had to also park up at the village (have to pay for) and walk down.
