  • one of the best forts to visit in Fujairah Emirate 20 minutes drive from the city. About half way through there is a 200-metre gravel part in the road. Do not get discouraged: it is short and you can ...  more »
  • My legs are not. I think that you can enjoy 10-minute Fujairah Fort. This is not good-the curve of the village on the road is good, guests can enjoy. And photogenic Castle in the background the mountains look especially at dusk when a little away from the friendly and helpful.

  • You will love the drive to this place. Bit of the roads are damaged in between but the road is good otherwise. The view from the top is excellent. You will feel the trip was worth it.
  • Small castle/fort. Can see where the old generation live their life. The view of mountains surrounding is also nice.
  • Worth the trip up. Great views.
  • Nice place, can be reached through normal car.
  • A small fort / castle well off the beaten track nestled in the mountains. However the track is paved the entire route so is easily accesible by a normal car with a scenic drive through the mountains. The fort itself is in a good state of repair. There's a tiny mosque with a lone imam who also serves as your unofficial 'tour guide' and who will open up the fort's rooms for you (just be sure to give him a gift/tip and engage him in conversation as I'm sure he'll be grateful for the visitors!).
