This place has been designed to recreate the old Arabian markets and it kind of pulls it off until you visit the old town. Worth a visit just for the pics on the canal and bridges
Me and my boyfriend went both during the day and in the evening. It was enjoyable and very romantic to go on the boats around the souk.

The place had the feeling of being at Disney world in how it's all fake. It's replica of how Souks are like and you can really tell it's not authentic. It does come quite close though. I did the Abra (boat) tour for AED85. You have to share it with upto 10 people if you're not staying at the hotel. The tour was quite nice to see the resort.
Wonderful place to be, very quiet and elegant
You can go for every souvenir here (less expensive). There are also some places where you can get a great look at the Burj Al Arab. All in all expectet something more but worth a trip.
