#14 of 96 in Shopping in Dubai
Do some shopping Arab style at Souk Al Bahar, an indoor market combing intricate traditional design with modern retail shops. The long, high stone corridors house over 100 stores and restaurants, all with highly stylized interiors evoking an atmosphere of bygone eras. You'll find traditional handicrafts and popular regional perfumes here, alongside some of the leading international brands in furnishings, fashion, and technology. Sit in one of the cafes on the waterfront promenade and take in views of downtown, including the orchestrated fountain and the gargantuan skyscraper. • This Souk is located opposite the Dubai mall, burj khalifa and the source. It is a Souk that almost goes unnoticed, inside is very nice and quiet

  • This place is in the guidebooks is positioned as a trading center. It is of course true, but we appreciated it simply as a great place for walking, both daytime and evening, lived in a five-minute walk from this beautiful place. Built under the old Eastern Souk Al Bahar Palace in conjunction with several located Burj Khalifa Tower produces a very pleasant impression. Built on the water, near the fountains. There are many nice restaurants. Some overlook Tower and fountains. In many establishments selling alcohol. In buildings on the territory of the Souk Al Bahar apartment.

  • This place is awesome. It merges modern and traditional architecture. You can get quite a few restaurants with direct views of the Dubai Fountain. There's also some very nice coffee and cakes around too. It's also very accessible (directly connected to Dubai Mall by a bridge). A must visit!
  • A nice shopping gallery. If you want to buy some souvenirs & traditional clothing or grab something to eat, it might be a better choice than the enormous Dubai Mall. There's also a supermarket here and you don't have to walk 3 km to get to it...
  • This is a good place for locals and for tourists to take a break from all the sightseeing and do some normal shopping with good restaurants and some great sweet stores. However, come here expecting a local market or an attraction you're visiting. It's a very modern mall with architecture that's made to look old - you won't miss much of you skip this.
  • A beautiful souk rest on a place facing burj khailfa. Usually crowded. Many restaurants with different cuisine that suits many cultures. Amazing hang out place. And easy to find parking here as main rush goes to the mall parking. Lot of tourist flock this souk.
  • Souk the Bahar or "the sea market" is an amazing outdoor place. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops. An amazing view of burj Khalifa. The fountain is just stunning. Fountain shows start from 7:00 pm till 11:30 pm every 30 minutes. You can enjoy the shows from many of the available restaurants.
