Head to Safa Park to enjoy a bit of welcome relief from the bustle of downtown. Set over an area of 64 hectares (158 acres), the urban green space contains three lakes and many native trees and plants, which in turn support over 200 species of birds. Well-maintained lawns lead up to a hilltop panorama, offering a good perspective on the downtown development and all those skyscrapers. For a particularly peaceful experience, rent a row boat and ease your way out onto the largest lake. • Came here as it was a good location for bird watching. Well we were able to see the bird pond off in the distance in the middle of the construction zone. They are extending Dubai Creek so removing some of Safa park for this project. I hope that the bird pond will remain untouched during this project and after completion. We were able to see some great birds and even 12-15 turtles on the edge of the pond - but you would need to bring your binoculars to see them. The maps at the front entrance should be updated to show where the construction is located.
  • I love safa park because it's a friendly park with lots a things to do. And if you play Pokemon go you'll definitely catch em all
  • Safa Park used to be cheap and amazing fun for the whole family- but not any more as result of the new Dubai Canal, which has destroyed lots of the greenery as well as the river and waterfall being drenched, leaving an ugly dried up hole in the ground. Safa Park is good for a quick break for some fun, but not for birthday parties and such
  • Everyone has a favorite park, and this one is mine. I'm currently new to the city, I discovered this park just yesterday. If you're a tourist with limited time this is must-see destination. You can spend hours here, when feeling blue. It's a great place to come and dwell in your thoughts, or to watch people, or with friends a picnic or.
  • Huge, nice, greener landscape, park including barbecue spots and boating lake. Good place for a family get together during a week end.
