Meena Bazaar, Dubai

3.6
#10 of 73 in Shopping in Dubai
Flea Market Landmark
Tear yourself away from the glitzy modernity of the downtown area and experience a more traditional shopping experience at Meena Bazaar, a market offering goods from across the Middle East and South Asia. Travel down the winding side streets to explore the full range of stalls, and look for Pakistani stores with traditional clothing, Iranian spice stalls, and "ten dirham" shops selling affordable electronics and homeware. Make sure to haggle so as to get a good price for what you find. To visit Meena Bazaar on your holiday in Dubai, and find out what else Dubai has to offer, use our Dubai trip generator.

Where to stay in Dubai

Dubai is a city of hotels, with most of the world's leading chains represented. Rooms remain expensive and luxurious, as most establishments cater to visitors with deeper pockets. You can still save money on accommodations if you look hard enough. Move away from the coast for more affordable backpacker hostels and self-service apartments, as well as less expensive hotel rooms where a lack of luxurious amenities and less appealing views keep rates suited to budget travelers.

  • Good place to shop for clothes and jewellery. Be prepared to barging and never pay asking price. Men will approach you through out the place trying to sell you fake stuff.
  • Nice place for shopping in Dubai. Lot of variety available with great offer. You have to bargaining in some shops. Its quit big and good for cloths and electronic items.
  • Generally all kind of goods getting here at a very cheap with good quality especially cloths, gift articles perfume, watches and even ornamental items for ladies at a very low price
  • It's a place where you can do a lot of shopping...and you would really like it if you are an Indian.
  • Good place for street side shopping. But you need to bargain on products to get the best deal.
