Global Village Reviews
Highly recommended for the young and old. An amazing place to be..feels like you are in another world. Cheap eats..fancy eats are aplenty. Male and Female available on site. more »
It is a melange of many things. The culture and special products from different countries are seen in each of the stalls named after the country. The fun in the Ice Cream shop in Turkey's stall, the..... more »
We visited late in the evening which was perfect since the weather was cooler and all buildings were beautifully lit up. Global Village is a ''must-go'' place in Dubai where everyone can find sth... more »
It's a very interesting place to visit while in Dubai. It's full of food corners and mini shops. It offers you the opportunity to try all these different type of food and delights. If you are an ethnic food lover then for sure you'll love this place. I've tried some type foods that never have i tried before (Syrian, African and many more). Further more there are plenty of spots where you can enjoy traditional dancing and even to get involved.
Global village is something that lives up to the hype it creates all over. It’s simply like visiting the globe in a single day. Yes! They’ve brought the culture, techniques, traditions and markets such beautifully in one place. We explored almost every nook of the village yes we missed last 2-3 countries as we got so tired in wandering the place so keenly. The place normally opens up by the end October and stays till April. In the last month you can get some great bargains as well as they plan to close down for next season. It’s not accessible in summers of course due to obvious reasons -the heat majorly. You can also enjoy free concert by any nationality’s famous singer any day. The tickets are super cheap and can beget from the counter. Loads of food attractions according to the country’s specialties are available so no need to worry for that. Live performances, fresh food and what not everything is there. It’s a highly recommended place from my side.
This is a HUGE place. So huge that we clocked Eleven kilometers just to complete a round of the place. Huge parking area, huge entrance arch, lots of eating places, live music performances. You won't notice how you have spent 4,5 hours here. Basically it's like an amusement park. The whole global village is divided into sections of continents and countries. And in their particular section you'll find the market place selling products of that country and food stalls serving that country cuisine, along with global brands of fast food and beverages. The concept of Global village is unique and great, you get to see the products and cuisines of various countries in one place. And we were there in period of Dubai shopping festival. The place is very crowded though. We were glad to find a section of our country India, where we enjoyed Indian food.👍🏻👌🏼
One of the best experience in Dubai. Highly recommended. If you can't go for world tour then just go here, you will feel that you visited lot of countries.
I was always recommend Global village for family fun. The place gets crowded so it's easy to loose a child, my advice is to gps tag them or keep the on leash. The global village concept is magical. I'll highly recommend you visit before leaving Dubai.
