Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, Dubai

(4.7/5 based on 1,500+ reviews on the web)
Explore the extensive landscape and diversity of nature at Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, a protected natural area. Away from the bustle and change that is modern-day Dubai, this conservation project was established to maintain no less than five percent of the Emirate of Dubai's total landmass. Trek across the dunes on the back of a camel and look for the wildlife that has been reintroduced to its natural habitat, such as caracals, sand foxes, and Brandts hedgehogs. Enjoy a range of traditional Arab pursuits, such as archery and horse riding, or something a bit more modern, like sand boarding. Check out the falconry presentations, where you'll meet the birds of prey up close. • Eyes eyes back, unfortunately very disgusting condition left the dear tourists, deplorable. The Big Red Dune in vain would be pretty interesting sight, this State is just a dump from keréknyomokkal. You can also walk the walk, the car feel there may be a small shopping complex before the Dubai-Hatta road. There is no fence, you can walk along the dunes. In fact, even your own vehicle can be executed from the Big Red dűnéhez, a soul is not there, free of course. It is difficult, but not impossible. If there are no organized 4WD tours, completely deserted. Unfortunately, we did play with only a few unfortunate wriggly legged camel safari organiser szomorkodott roadside yard. Good location, interesting wildlife in the morning lights, shadows, the wind-swept sand, but does not remove the trash, there is always little rework.

  • We used the Arabian Adventure, which picked us up at the hotel in a 6 pers. Toyota Landcruiser. A short impromptu stay on a camel-training course. Further out in the closed area and approximately 1 hour's fight easier wild drive in Sandy Dynes. Back seat should, however, be used only for children, but the trip was an experience we belatedly forgets. Ended with the giant desert-buffet with 6 small appetizers and main dishes + dessert 3-4. Free wine, beer and water. Belly Dance (tedious). Sunset. Not particularly cheap. But definitely worth the money for a 6 hour trip.

  • You have 4 x 4 by desert very rapidly! Stop a couple of times to take pictures of beautiful places, with sunset in the background. You end up at a dinner with Arabic show, where you relax and you can get henna tattoos and smoke shisha. Very beautiful experience, it is worth doing so!
