Dubai Creek, Dubai

(4.2/5 based on 6,500+ reviews on the web)
Stroll along Dubai Creek, a natural feature around which much of the city has sprung up. Follow the boardwalk to admire sights of some of the city's most iconic buildings, or take a ride across to the other side for a new perspective on the stretch of water and the developments that line its banks. Hop on a water taxi to access the more traditional side of Dubai on the opposite bank, featuring may popular souks (open-air markets) and other cultural attractions--you'll see how the creek that once divided the city now, in many ways, brings it together. Dubai Creek is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our world travel planner, Dubai Edition.

  • Worth going on a dhow cruise at night with ir without a meal...relaxing couple of hours...even if a bit touristy.
  • Nothing much to see there, even the boat ride is OK'ish experience. It gives a good glimpse of the old town. Dhow cruise here has no view... nothing enjoyable as such. Malls are all the same in Dubai....  more »
  • the boat ride is very nice and impressive but before leaving check well the cost ... you risk having to pay 20-30 euros for twenty minutes ... The whole thing is still very suggestive because by way of seeing and living the "old" Dubai. The gold Souk is very impressive like that spice. I recommend you try one of the fantastic chicken wrap that are sold in small bars. The appearance will not be of the most inviting but taste fantastic you nature! And for only 2-3 euro. The area is also accessible by metro.
