It’s a great place for shopping the mall is too big with so many restaurant options. But the construction in the parking is taking ages to finish.  more »

Love the mall. Feels different and a little far from the city. It definitely has more of a local feel and I've met some great people here too. My favourite things to do are bowling, Ifly and a coffee while reading a magazine @ Caribou (inside borders)

Great mall. It's different to the typical Dubai mall and mall of the Emirates as it offers a different feel, much more relaxed and less crowded. Personally I don't go there often as it's on the other side of town, but some things you can only get there. It's definitely worth it. Oh and an ocean basket restaurant for all south Africans to enjoy :-) good parking, open spaces and not massively huge.

This Mall is full of surprises. The number of shops and boutiques surpasses your imagination. They are more luxurious the one than the other. Nevertheless, the prices are mostly affordable.

There's no question about it. My favorite shopping mall in Dubai. Many well-known international brands are here, posh ones as well as modest ones. There are options for everybody. Carrefour is also here if you want to do groceries. It gets very crowded and messy during Friday prayers though.

Where to stay in Dubai

Dubai is a city of hotels, with most of the world's leading chains represented. Rooms remain expensive and luxurious, as most establishments cater to visitors with deeper pockets. You can still save money on accommodations if you look hard enough. Move away from the coast for more affordable backpacker hostels and self-service apartments, as well as less expensive hotel rooms where a lack of luxurious amenities and less appealing views keep rates suited to budget travelers.
