For a short history lesson, make a brief visit to Al Badiyah Mosque, a tiny, 53 sq m (570 sq ft) structure probably built in the 15th century. Admire the oldest mosque in the emirates, built with materials from the surrounding area, mainly stones covered in terracotta-colored mud. Non-Muslim visitors are free to take a look inside, as long as they wear suitable clothes and take off their shoes before entering. Plan your visit to Al Badiyah Mosque and a wealth of other attractions, well-known and undiscovered, using our Al Badiyah tourist route planner.

Virtuous place to learn a bit more of UAEs history. Well maintained mosque and muslims are allowed to still pray and utilize the prayer facilities, which i find is amazing.
700 hundred year old mosques. Amazing experience very peaceful and tranquil. Restoration is top notch and fort around the mosque brings a wonderful view of the Arabian Gulf
oldest mosque in uae and it is constructed using mud.there is a small tower also there. the mosque is on the road, so you can just stop and pay a visit.
Strange stories of past which seems quite unbelievable. But whatever is the history, inside there is some peace. It's very compact but it's spiritual. I been there many times but the best time I spent there was at Tahajad time.
Beautiful mosque. I felt so peaceful while I was there. Had a great time. Definitely recommended for a visit!
