  • An interesting wander around the old Palace gives an insight into how the Sheikh's family lived and hosted guests. There are some artifacts on show and the palace has a variety of rooms on display showing the way the royal rooms use to be. Excellent family portraits of the family going back over the generations. Free to park and enter, would have been good to see more personal items associated with this incredible family.
  • It's a must see place. You can really see where the king was living earlier time. It's very well maintained. There is some dedicated place to sit and relax. Entry is free.
  • Great palace museum, grounds are awesome, nicely maintained and cared for. You can enter in all the rooms and view how palace life is like, nicely kept with traditional interiors and decor. Staff are very friendly and helpful, the entrance area foyer has some old ancient pots and relics, with a family tree nearby of all the descendants. In the far corner is a tent set up with carpet and sitting area, very exotic, and a shame the fountains were not operational would have looked spectacular.
