  • This place is lovely during weekdays, when its really peaceful and gorgeous scenery. A bit too noisy on weekends for my taste, but some may enjoy. Overall a nice place to take a breath of fresh air, and dabble your feet in warm spa water if that appeals :)
  • Nice green spot in desert. Spacious barbecue area. Very Crowded on week ends
  • A beautiful and well developed park in the mountains at the outskirts of Al Ain. Good place for a relaxed walk, picnic or eating at one of the cafes there. If you want to explore more, visit an old Mubazzarah Dam which is just 5 min drive on the other side of the mountain (marked well on Google maps) and allows for a look - and little trekking if you wish - at a more rough side of the mountain.
  • You got a huge family? You love barbecue in the weekends? This is it! Arrive early on weekends to get the best spot! Gets insanely crowded in the weekends and holidays!
  • It was a beautiful place! Scenery too was mesmerizing with mountains around!

Where to stay in Al Ain

While Al Ain doesn't offer much in the way of true budget accommodations, many of its mid-range and luxury hotels are surprisingly good value. You'll find most hotels in the narrow streets of the old town, as well as some larger resorts around the fringes. Several of the city's hotels have swimming pools, which could provide welcome relief from the blistering heat. You can buy alcohol--heavily restricted throughout the U.A.E--at a few of the large hotels in Al Ain, including the Hilton and the Mercure Grand.
