The Hili Archaeological Park is located in the northeastern part of Al Ain, close to the border with Oman. The well-maintained Park is open from 1600 to 2300 pm. The Park was built to make the ancient monuments of Al Ain and open for visitors. Most of the monuments come from the at naar Umm period, from 2,500 BC. Took up to 2,000 BC. The focus is great tomb of Nefer, which has been dated to 2,000 BC. It's a circular tomb with a diameter of up to 12 m un approx. 4 m height. In addition to the tombs you see too much grass and something to play for the children. The entire system is extremely well maintained. Bottom line: for a night trip with some culture and history.

Nice place to spend time with family. Good place for family/friends gathering. No supermarkets, restaurant near by. So better go with enough stuff like water, juice, snacks, cards etc.

Great park for families, for jogging. Lots of space and usually not too crowded.

Where to stay in Al Ain

While Al Ain doesn't offer much in the way of true budget accommodations, many of its mid-range and luxury hotels are surprisingly good value. You'll find most hotels in the narrow streets of the old town, as well as some larger resorts around the fringes. Several of the city's hotels have swimming pools, which could provide welcome relief from the blistering heat. You can buy alcohol--heavily restricted throughout the U.A.E--at a few of the large hotels in Al Ain, including the Hilton and the Mercure Grand.
