The past and present come together at Hili Archaeological Park, home to the remnants of a Bronze Age settlement dating back to the 3rd century BCE. The site was excavated and restored in 1995, and has since been enhanced with sprawling lawns, shady trees, landscaped gardens, fountains, and a children's playground. Recognized as the largest Bronze Age site in the UAE, the park is a World Heritage-listed attraction. This is an enjoyable place to walk. The ruins are described in English and Arabic. I enjoyed learning about the early inhabitants in the desert.
