Al Ain Palace Museum, Al Ain

(4.4/5 based on 300+ reviews on the web)
Visit the former home of the late founder of the nation at Al Ain Palace Museum. Built in 1910, the palace displays striking architecture, with large courtyards and tiered towers located within high palace walls. A museum since 1998, the palace showcases art contemporary to the rule of Sheikh Zayed, tells the story of his political and private biography, and details what life was like at the palace. Tour the grounds and enjoy the exhibits, which are set across multiple ornate majlis (rooms for receiving visitors). • We had a nice visit to the palace. There are lots of rooms to have a look in and check out. It's free as well.
  • Visit this Palace, which is next to the oasis for free. Sheikh Zayed will see all kinds of stays of the founder of the homeland. Please note that on Mondays is closed.

  • in the earlier time of ruler of Abu Dhabi. The easy Palace was surely stately at that time. During an outing (Emirates tours) to Al Ain not much was told by the leader unfortunately, but you had to make yourself properly. The system is good and you have won a small impression of the time.

  • One of the better museums here in the UAE, I've been to Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi. It's not that big but a lot of interesting things to see one thing that stand out is the old TV screen they have there, playing a very old film and the film taught a lot about the history of UAE and I love history. Wish they could update the display though. Went here with the family and they are not as interested as I am, but if you are a curious then definitely visit this place.
  • Very nice place to see, many orchestras are held there! Cool place!
  • Get a feeling on how sheikh zayed used to live. Beautiful palace
  • Nice museum. Free entry. A look into the history of the ruling family.
  • One of the best museums in UAE. hats off
