  • If you are an independent traveler and arrive as we do in the U.A.E. capital by bus from Dubai, from the bus station there is a bus stop from where you can take a bus to reach 54 literally up to the walls of the mosque. The only minus-Abu Dhabi buses go by the schedule times in 30 minutes. You will come to the mosque with the hospital part, there's no telling the crowds, there was almost no one there, and the mosque will appear before you in its luxurious splendor. You can make excellent pictures without the tourist crowds in the background. She truly admires its size, white splendor and luxury. The entrance is free, if you want to get on the tour, it's just free. Opening hours: open from 9-00 to 22-00. But there is an important nuance. Non-Muslims are allowed to worship only Hall at a time when no prayers. Fajr (the first prayer) ends with the dawn. Dhuhr (second prayer) begins immediately after the zenith of the Sun. If you want to get into the prayer room, then choose you need this time is between dawn and the zenith of the Sun. Moments of Zenith and dawn can be found in the Internet.

  • An impressive place. It's top notch in architecture and designed to provide for a staggering number of people without dimming the experience for any individual, certainly opulent in its delivery. It's very well looked after and caters for all. I'd suggest a tour if your looking for the history (free). Additional attire is provided for those who may not be properly prepared. Big bus has a stop here if you're looking at transport options. Also this is a holy place, so please remember to follow the local customs. Certainly a top spot to visit.
  • One of the most magnificent mosque in the world. The architecture, the grandeur and the look is out of the world. It’s very magistic clean and well maintained. Irrespective of the number of guests visiting the prayers are carried out peacefully. The most important note is to maintain the dress code. Men and women both need to be fully covered. And it is important for the women to cover their heads. For ladies a full length loose dress with full sleeves is the best option with a scarf. Loose pants or tights/leggings with jeans is fine. Modesty is the word. If you are not dressed appropriately there is arrangement to provide proper clothing free of charge. Respect the dress code and feel the peace while you listen to the Islamic prayer.
  • That is without a doubt one of the most beautiful mosque I have ever seen. Religious places allover the world are mainly work of art and people spend ages and huge effort at constructing them and this sometimes over kill the whole point. Sheikh Zayed mosque shows exactly how to do it right and still make it one of the most beautiful mosque on earth. If you visit UAE 🇦🇪 that is one place should be on top of your list, regardless your religious beliefs. Try to plan your visit at night to see true beauty. You will thank me later.
  • I was in awe! This place of worship, so beautiful. The attention to detail, the cleanliness. It was an amazing experience. Pictures simply cannot capture the beauty in person. I am so glad I got to visit such a wonder!
  • The eight largest mosque in the world with a capacity of 40,000 people at a time to perform Salah. The design of this architectural beauty is done by a Syrian architect. Located in Abu Dhabi, capital city of United Arab Emirates. It's extraordinary architectural design attracts a lot of religious people. A soothing feel, you will get here.

Where to stay in Abu Dhabi

One of the most expensive cities in the world, Abu Dhabi is famous for providing an unparalleled level of luxury. The modern development of Yas Island offers some of the priciest options in the city. Abu Dhabi doesn't really do hostels, but you can find some less expensive hotels in side streets less frequented by foreign visitors. Head away from the sea to find lower rates, or consider the areas south and east of the airport for simple rooms with basic amenities.
