  • Being in Abu Dhabi for several months we have scoured the city beaches, difficult to find one where him feels comfortable being two young women. Al-Bateen beach offers a beach reserved for women, men and boys over six years old are not access. It is totally isolated, unable to be seen from the outside even in the water. The only drawback is that you must let your phone to lockers if it is equipped with a camera/camera. The lifeguards are also women, there is a free water point which is significant. Bikinis are of course allowed and there is a small kiosk that sells snacks and beverages. Count 25aed for entry and 25aed per person for the transat with parasol, cheaper than Saadiyat. The beach is open to the public is free. This is obviously damage to achieve such ends in order to bathe leisurely, but our experience at the cornice there has strongly pushed us.

  • Clean and good for swimming. Used to be rushy though. Timing for swimming is till sunset only. There is shower areas, Toilets, cafeteria, a small kids play area, beach volley court, huts... etc.. Overall very good beach.
  • I love it here! Its a suitable place for beaching with family and friends. Nice view and nice place...
  • I love this place as this is my favorite place to swim, the water is clear and the sand is just awesome for playing beach soccer. Weekend is overcrowded. Now its divided into two, one for public and other for Ladies only. . IT’S A BLUE FLAG BEACH
  • Not a big one, but still good for family with events occasionally over weekends
  • Good Beach for kids and Family. Crowded in weekends. Parking is the main issue.

Where to stay in Abu Dhabi

One of the most expensive cities in the world, Abu Dhabi is famous for providing an unparalleled level of luxury. The modern development of Yas Island offers some of the priciest options in the city. Abu Dhabi doesn't really do hostels, but you can find some less expensive hotels in side streets less frequented by foreign visitors. Head away from the sea to find lower rates, or consider the areas south and east of the airport for simple rooms with basic amenities.
