  • This museum we visited out of curiosity. 4 years ago was on an excursion in Sevastopol in military-historical Museum of the fortifications, the luxurious trips at the Maritime Museum in the city of Kharkov and Nikolayev decided to necessarily go and in Shipbuilding and Navy Museum. Because museums with maritime themes in Ukraine is not so much ... The Museum building was built in 1794, the appearance of the whole complex instantly attracts attention and arouses the desire to see what is there inside) just 12 rooms, the Museum exhibits nearly 3 thous. I, of course, more liked the left wing of the Museum and exhibits, where the history of shipbuilding in Ukraine from the times of Kievan Rus ... In the right wing of the exhibits introduce the shipyards and with a more modern period. Also in the Museum there are household items, form and seafarers navigational instruments (some can easily learn even a schoolboy). Generally informative. The Museum will be interesting for both adults and children)

  • Great museum for understanding history of the city and shipbuilding industry in southern part of Ukraine. It's not yet 100% comfortable for non-russian speakers, yet very informative museum, even in visual way only. Must-visit place when you are in Mykolaiv
  • Nice and very relaxing :-)
  • The most interesting museum about the history of Ukrainian shipbuilding and fleet, which I visited in Ukraine. Entry 15 UAH per adult + 5 UAH for the opportunity to photograph exhibits guide then was not, so we were like and admired. Highly recommend this museum here is worth a go.
