4.8/5 based on 460+ reviews on the web
Built in 1835, Ratusha Tower and Lviv City Hall boasts a classical Viennese architectural style, with a yellow and white facade and a clock with bells at the top. You can climb its 350 stairs to one of the most well-known observation platforms in the area. Standing 65 m (213 ft) tall, the tower stems from others, the first one being a wooden town hall from 1357. The city council works on the premises, but you're free to tour the interior. Look for vivid stained-glass windows and inspect the intricate antique clockwork. • The view from the top of the tower is worth the climb. There are several hundred steps, so be sure you are ready and healthy enough to make the climb, but it is worth the view on the top!
  • Great view from the top. Many many stairs, can be crowded. So crowded that there are traffic jams and gridlock on the tighter sections of the stairway. Maybe avoid if you are claustrophobic. :)
  • Probably the best panorama you can find in the central city. Cheap to visit (veeeery cheap), and is located in the most central part of L'viv. Tip: take good and comfortable shoes, it's a long way up ;)
  • Can't be missed if you're in the Town and well worth the epic journey to the top (be warned there's no lift). Views are stunning on a clear day; you can spend an hour just taking photos and people watching.
  • Pretty good!
