  • It seems to be a complex of church and holy place- i just describe my experience. there was many priest i think it is kind of university for them as well. again i just describe my conclusion. The whole are is so big there was a amazing wooden bridge with nice view - the place had such a relaxing environment - there was a entry fee (very little) to the main churches, it was a underground type with no light. you could buy some candle as a donation and use it to light the inside church cus it was dark. It was near a museum and motherland statue. so you can visit both at once.
  • This is one of the best examples of Orthodox church architecture. A must to visit. Come better not on big Orthodox holidays. A little past in the center of Kiev. To get to know Kiev just right - took all friends and relatives
  • Looks fantastic. Unfortunately it was closed and we couldn't go inside to see there. It's an ancient religious place. If you were successful to get inside, keep in mind that there are also some parts under the ground that you can see and enjoy. Earlier it had discount for students to visit this place but due to an unwritten law ir maybe racism, no discount for students studying in English! Only Ukrainian groups can have it! I don't know why :-)
  • The bell tower is great. Climb it! The cathedral is beautiful. The caves are a sanitary disaster.
  • Incredible architecture. You can go up the tower and experience an amazing view. Love this place!!!
