  • Olga monument-a very controversial figure in Ukrainian history. Brutal ruler until the end of life otmalivala their sins, what its merits-not very clear.

  • The monument is dedicated to Princess Olga. Just surprising moral insensitivity and builders of new monuments on the territory of the former USSR: Russia, Irkutsk put the monument to Admiral Kolchak-not war criminal making restitution to rehabilitated in Tashkent-Timur, the pyramid of thousands of inhabitants of Isfahan. But in Kiev-here's Olga, which otmstila for the death of her husband Igor tribe of drevlians. Igor was killed for the same, for which the British executed Charles I then-illegal taxes. It seemed to him a little and he came again for the same. And here is the "Holy" Olga burns his treasured manuscript first alive all Embassy drevlyane, then the second burned alive in the bath. Not satisfied with this, she killed another five thousand drevlyane, naturally, not only military but also civilian populations. Its called a Saint. Here is this man worth monument on the mykhailivska square in Kyiv.

  • Nice monument to the patron saints of the city. Princess Olga in the middle. The 2 guys on the right are the ones to create the alphabet for the Russian/Ukrainian language. Saint Andrew is on the left looking like he's ordering a taxi
  • Nice monument but the near churches are more beautiful
  • Pretty great views in all directions. A short walk from several other points of interest.
  • Great remake in white marble of a pre-revolution monument.
  • Very very powerful woman standing on a monument
