  • The monument is dedicated to Princess Olga.   • Monument to Princess Olga on mykhailivska square is a sculpture, which consists of a central monument to Olga, pedestals to Saints Cyril and Methodius, to the right, and a monument to the Apostle Andrew, located to the left of the Princess. Monument to Princess Olga in September 1911 year on mykhailivska square. Unfortunately the monument only lasted 8 years — in 1919 year statue of Princess Olga was dropped by the Bolsheviks from the pedestal, split in two and is under the monument itself, and in March 1923 the Apostle statues, were dismantled and educators. In 1926 a year on the spot of the former monument square was laid out. The monumental ensemble, dedicated to Princess Olga, the first and so far the only woman head of State in the history of Ukraine, May 25, 1996 year was inaugurated on the day of Kyiv.
