  • The Museum of the great famine in Ukraine is a place out of the ordinary. The time there stops, the man falls into a reverie. I was lucky enough to be in the off-season and is normally the day of the week. I was alone as a tourist and it gives huge capabilities. This place is worth going after hearing the history of hunger. Knowledge Base even if it is necessary. With the basics, I recommend to watch one of the many films to choose from. The videos are in the following languages: English, Russian and Ukrainian. You can watch them on the small screen while standing, or sit back and watch the displayed on the movie projector on the wall. I recommend this second option. XXX movies-1.5 hours. For me, even with the knowledge of the partisans is unknown 1930s in Ukraine, it was a large dose of knowledge. Same Exposition could say is modest. The focal point is a statue depicting the mini altar. All around are symbolic empty cars, agricultural equipment and mounds of grains. Each grain is one man, who was killed by dream collectivization as directed by the SOVIET UNION. On the walls are also displayed the phrase and password for this period and the same Museum. Exposure is minimal, but sufficient. You can also use the media stands, to broaden their knowledge. The whole visit should close in 2 hours, counting 1.5 hours to watch the movie.
