  • You will find moth European and Asian (e.g. Japanese) masterpieces there, the museum is divided in 2 parts accordingly. The collection used to belong to Khanenko family, and they have made a decision ...  more »
  • August in Kyiv is a blast to the sensations even if we exclude Independence Day on the 24 August every year in Ukraine. Try the very steep escalators to the underground Metro in Kyiv, Ukraine and hop ...  more »
  • The Museum is one of the most expensive in the city, the average price per ticket 60 UAH. (main display). There are separate temporary exhibitions of the Museum and collectors who allow the Museum to show their relics. To visit them requires an additional 2 individual tickets. Their value is different and varies from the exhibition itself. Nice bonus-every first Wednesday of the month entry till 14.00 absolutely free. Although the basic Exposition I advise to look everyone! Each room contains relics of different cultures of the world. They are very beautiful and unlikely someone will impress.

  • Very rich and beatiful museum with lots of paitings from 16-19 century. Interesting excursion and polite staff. Highly recommended for visiting!
  • From my point of view, this is the best art museum in Kyiv. Also, you can read about each room and about great part of paintings. Must see - icons dated from the VI century.
  • We enjoyed our visit to the museum. The personnel is attentive and engaged, museum is small but interesting. You can take pictures and have a tour around the exhibition with a guide.
  • Awesome place. Especially the building architecture itself is amazing
  • Did you know that Sergius and Bakkhus, one of the oldest icons in the world is stored here?
