  • It will be interesting to see not only artists. Come inside-there is even better than outside. Interior at an altitude

  • Beautifully decorated in the art nouveau style building, in the heart of the city, next to the headquarters of the administration. In the middle is also worth a look, not to mention the exhibitions.

  • The Museum is located in the former savings bank, a beautiful building in the style of the Vienna secession. Built by Hubert Gessner, who spent his formative years at the famous art nouveau architect Otto Wagner. The mosaic frieze on the facade shows twelve ancient gods that symbolize provinces of Austria-Hungary - Bucovina depicted as a young man dressed in a goatskin. The museum itself seems somewhat outmoded and in need of renovation, and shows works of fine art and folk art of Bucovina from the 17th to the 20th century. Because it is a public institution, not much money seems to be prompt and it will be saved. Upon entering a room, the light is first turned from one of the many female Museum supervision and as soon as the visitor goes on, the light in the area is shut off immediately. A visit is worthwhile nonetheless, alone already to see the renovated Jugendstilstiegenhaus. Admission is extremely cheap with not quite 50 cents. Right next to the Museum a small cafe in the old Vienna is located on the 1st floor of a small book and souvenir shop style with an exquisite selection of different coffee variations.
