  • I would like to correct the Alexander c. Armenian Church is located in the very center of Chernivtsi, slightly below the pedestrian street of Olga kobylyanska. Descend on Armenian street down from the store "Berezka" and through 50 meters will see this sight on the left hand side. The Armenian Church is simple at first glance, but it seems so at first, it was designed by the Czech architect j. Spire. He designed the most famous landmark of the town is the metropolitov Residence of Bukovina and Dalmatia (now Chernivtsi National University) , which is under UNESCO protection. the Armenian Church of St. Apostles Peter and Paul Church combines Romanesque, Gothic and Byzantine styles: plan of the Church is in the shape of a Latin cross. Stained glass on many Windows native. Earlier in Soviet times, the room held sporting goods store warehouse, then was restored and transferred to the Chernivtsi Philharmonic Society and, and since 1992 the year concerts of organ music is popular for wedding ceremonies and even church services are held at the entrance of a church once stood a sculpture of Saints Peter and Paul that no but not so long ago were found and restored, especially sure to visit on a sunny day.
