  • Went with the children, the place is very cute, like a toy, as a small country, you come to the territory and you find yourself in a fairy tale. The kids tried pottery, they liked:). On site you can view different ancient crafts, accessories, everyday life of the Ukrainian village. You can grab a bite to eat, there are toilets, go to the place fairly conveniently near Kiev, about half an hour drive from Kiev. Recommend

  • Not very much like visiting ethno Museum. All museum piece on a small area and immediately and a zoo with its unique aroma. The work done by the big houses themselves are pretty good, girl guides are not poorly told and some crafts even showed;-). But badly hampered by limitations in space, there is nowhere to sit and admire it. Coffee in the Park is better not to drink at all, price as in a good Café, and pour the muck soluble. Took the pancakes, gave the dog, too, is impossible. Went into the restaurant, there is closed. Maybe we were unlucky with the meal. But immediately there are decent area for picnics. And somehow not comfortable is everything. Recommend travel organizers on such parks at least in Poland, but better in Germany.

  • Amazing place to visit and spend a day. Large area and real buildings inside take you back for centures! You can enjoy walking around old houses, listen the folk music, see the way of living. I would recommend everyone visit this place at least once!
  • There is nothing about ukrainian village in this place. It is more of an Istanbul park, or simply a theme park, where one can have «over-civilized non-vegetarian rest» with stationary (sic!) mangals for making shashlik placed among the trees («mangal» word comes from Arabic, while «shashlik» comes from a Turkic language — where is Ukraine in this mix?). To stay close to the mangal for longer, one can book a room in one of few lodges. Nevertheless, apart from the naming hypocrisy issue, this place is nice — lots of park vegetation is separated from the real world with a big fence and it was free to just walk through the place at the time of my visit. This place is good if one just wants to eat meat in a clean, segregated park that has the word «ethnography» and «ukrainian» written on its fence. If one wants to see a theme park a little bit more related to ethnography and ukrainian villages, while still have the possibility to just sit and eat, Pyrohiv and Mamaeva sloboda skansens will work better. If one really wants to see real, true, ukrainian villages, there are plenty of them nearby. No mangals, no shashlik, no park vegetation or nice paved foothpaths — just the normal life in them. Cyclists should dismount. Dogs and loud music are prohibited. Smoking is banned for good!
  • Very interesting place for seeing Ukrainian culture and pretty close to see animals in local zoo
  • Every country has one - here the Kyiv, Ukraine etnographic complex. Defnitely a place to visit, as well with kids. A shashlik place is available (need to book, otherwise chances are small), can stay overnight in an authentic Ukrainian Hata, and to observe the village life in real. And great for a team building organisation, I daresay
  • Very nice place for walking sleeping eating and for getting out of the city ....
