Little Lameshur Bay, Virgin Islands National Park
Categories: Hiking Trails, Beaches, Nature & Parks, Outdoor Activities
Take the bumpy road out to Little Lameshur Bay and relax on the beach, or swim out for some great snorkeling. Observe the rays, colorful schools of fish, and other marine animals that frequent the corals here. There bay has a restroom, but nothing more in the way of amenities. Bring a picnic and lots of water, especially if you fancy hiking some of the hilly trails to the ruined sugar mill and the ponds nearby. You may want to consider traveling by 4x4 to get to the bay, as the rugged road can prove too much for some vehicles. Plan to visit Little Lameshur Bay and other customer-reviewed, writer-recommended Virgin Islands National Park attractions using our Virgin Islands National Park family vacation planner.
