Mountain Top, St. Thomas
Categories: Lookouts, Tourist Spots
Head up to Mountain Top for some of the best views on St. Thomas. Albeit touristy, the souvenir shop and bar--famous for its banana daiquiris--is situated on the highest point of the island and features an observation deck with panoramic views. From the deck, you can fully appreciate the expansive vista that stretches from the other British Virgin Islands to the outlying islands of Puerto Rico. Make Mountain Top a centerpiece of your North Side vacation itinerary, and find what else is worth visiting using our North Side itinerary maker.

Stopped here on a tour. Offers the most amazing views on the entire island. And some pretty fresh, fruity, rum cocktails too! If you're stopping on a cruise, look for "Uncle Albert" in the port parking lot. He'll take you on an amazing, customized tour of the island for a price far better than anyone else!
worth the trip for the view! the deck out back is overlooking meghans bay at the highest point in st. thomas. there is a massive tourist trap inside with all the typical souvenirs. there is a bar in the back to help keep you sane.
This was a great view of the island. The shop was perhaps the largest we saw on our vacation
While on a tour of the island we stopped here to see the impressive views. The shop is a perfect spot for souvenir shopping because their are so many options and the prices vary but are affordable. They constantly promote their famous banana daiquiri from the time you enter until you leave. Of course I had to try it - but unfortunately I was not impressed. It was not the best tasting daquiri that Ive had by far. To me it tasted like a slushy full of cheap but strong banana flavored liquor. Hard drinkers my be a fan of this but not me-no thanks. However, the place itself is very touristy but the views from there terrace/ balcony were well worth the visit.
Don't like travelers have to pass the souvenir store but it's the best place to look down the Megan's bay.
