Ram Head Trail, St. John
Categories: Hiking Trails, Nature & Parks, Outdoor Activities
Take an adventurous hike along the 1.6 km (1 mi) rocky path that defines Ram Head Trail. A winding path along the coastal cliffs, the trail takes most guests one or two hours to complete and has a steep incline in parts. Notice its mottled character with the crimson tops of Turks Head Cactus. At the trail's furthest point you reach a lookout point 60.9 m (200 ft) above the Caribbean Sea, with views out to the horizon and the deep shoreline. Sunrise views from this point are particularly impressive. Be sure to take lots of water and sunscreen and wear closed-toe shoes.
