Point Udall, St. Croix

(4.5/5 based on 420+ reviews on the web)
Get far-flung at Point Udall, the easternmost point of the United States of America. Admire the sundial monument erected in 2000, marking the location where American soil first sees the sunrise. The vantage point offers sweeping views around the island, as well as blue, reef-laden waters along the coast. From the monument, follow an unofficial trail of medium difficulty to the point. • This is a great place to visit. You can park and walk down to a couple beaches as well. It has a nice monument with a little plaque. Incredible views of the ocean too. It's worth the drive if you have...  more »
  • It is magic knowing you are at the most easterly end of the U.S. - the views are spectacular - it is a must see when on St. Croix!

  • Nice view but not a whole lot else. If your going to issacs bay park just short of the point in the pull off to the south. The path is maked on the maps and is about a mile and can have some tall 6' grass on some
  • Point Udall is the most eastern point of the United States. It is on the eastern tip of the island of St Croix in the US Virgin Islands. The Danish named this "Et Stykke Land", meaning "A Piece of Land". It is an easy drive to the Easternmost point of the United States if you are on St. Croix. If you are not here, Delta and American Airline have direct and indirect flights from Atlanta, Miami and Puerto Rico. And, you don't need a passport, though it might be wise to have one. Other islands countries you might visit are a short distance away and you need a passport to go and come back.
  • Amazing 360 degree views of the ocean and hillside. The drive there was amazing too.
  • Gorgeous views but nothing else. Reserve time to hike to Isaac's and Jack's Bay. Easy hiking and amazing snorkeling spot.
  • Well worth the drive. You'll see breath taking views in all directions.
