Golf Course Outdoor Activity
Tee off a few rounds at Mahogany Run Golf Course, the only golf course on the island. Try holes 13, 14, and 15 (aka "The Devil's Triangle") for a real challenge. Designed in 1980 by golf architects George and Tom Fazio, the course covers 44 hectares (110 acres) and is also a hotbed for indigenous nature--if you're lucky, you may spot some mongooses, iguanas, or black-billed parrots roaming around. Head to the bar and restaurants for refreshments after you've worked up a sweat. If you haven't brought your own gear, the course offers cart and club rental. • I have played a lot of good to great golf courses on my vacations and I must say I was disappointed in this course. First, this course is not a $125 course, at best, it is a $50 course. Supply and dem...  more »
  • Great views of the water and nice course! Green fees are too expensive. Should have been a $75-100 course. Will say the ahi nachos at the Grill were amazing!  more »
  • To say leave driver in bag is understatement. Finesse course with small shot maker greens. Fairways in good shape and greens excellent. Devils Triangle is quite the challenge. Staff is wonderful in al...  more »

  • This goat track is the escence of a monopoly. $175 per person ... Two very nice holes. The rest are worse than any public course I've ever seen. Greens look nice but will NOT hold a perfect approach shot. Many tee boxes are uneven. Most fairways have a severe tilt causing a decent drive to bounce stray. Not totally without value, but not at anything close to this price. If you go your expectations should be low and your wallet full.
  • Very well maintained par 70, 6008 yard course, with a number of challenging holes. I went the day after a rain storm, and the bunkers were soft and the tees and greens firm. The Devil's Triangle is a very tricky set of three holes, that is sure to take a ball or two from you. Cart, and clubs for two people was $440, and includes four sleeves of balls, as well as a little booklet with details on how to best play each hole. Greens were challenging with varying speeds, approaches, and curves. I highly recommend this course. Club memberships are available for locals. Be sure to mention any other club memberships as they might earn you a discount.
  • The best view from Saint Thomas. VI. The Mahogany Grill has a good foodie not expensive. and we can spend time playing golf watching the Caribean ocean. It is a breath taking view.
  • Great service, good food, indoor/outdoor seating
  • If you are looking for a place to play a round of golf after your day trip. Mahogany Run is the spot for you. I have had several guests enjoy this course.
