Mahogany Run Golf Course, North Side

3.7
#104 of 189 in Outdoors in St. Thomas
Tee off a few rounds at Mahogany Run Golf Course, the only golf course on the island. Try holes 13, 14, and 15 (aka "The Devil's Triangle") for a real challenge. Designed in 1980 by golf architects George and Tom Fazio, the course covers 44 hectares (110 acres) and is also a hotbed for indigenous nature--if you're lucky, you may spot some mongooses, iguanas, or black-billed parrots roaming around. Head to the bar and restaurants for refreshments after you've worked up a sweat. If you haven't brought your own gear, the course offers cart and club rental. • Very nice all around! Good fast greans, grass whear it is supposed to be and sand in the bunkers. Friendly staff.  more »
  • Kept waiting for a table for 45 minutes while 2 tables were visibly open near the bar. Seems to cater to regulars.  more »
  • I have played a lot of good to great golf courses on my vacations and I must say I was disappointed in this course. First, this course is not a $125 course, at best, it is a $50 course. Supply and dem...  more »

  • Mahogany Run Golf Course is a well-rated and pleasantly testing layout. The course nestles between the scenic hills and shoreline of St Thomas’ scenic North side. Rising and falling over a gentle valley from 80-200 feet above sea level, players that exchange distance for accuracy will be well rewarded here. Perhaps most awe-inspiring is the Devil’s Triangle, a three hole stretch (13, 14 and 15) that challenges the best of players.
  • Kind of over priced units. Ok view
  • I night I came here and NEVER WANT TO COME BACK I FEEL we arrived with a booking of 5 and inside we chose inside because it's cool and nicewhen we got there they said sorry one person can sit down! Only way to sit 5 is out side so we did we waited to be seated almost 20 min then they sat us on we sat down and the ...... fan didn't work! Wow....
  • This goat track is the escence of a monopoly. $175 per person ... Two very nice holes. The rest are worse than any public course I've ever seen. Greens look nice but will NOT hold a perfect approach shot. Many tee boxes are uneven. Most fairways have a severe tilt causing a decent drive to bounce stray. Not totally without value, but not at anything close to this price. If you go your expectations should be low and your wallet full.
  • Very well maintained par 70, 6008 yard course, with a number of challenging holes. I went the day after a rain storm, and the bunkers were soft and the tees and greens firm. The Devil's Triangle is a very tricky set of three holes, that is sure to take a ball or two from you. Cart, and clubs for two people was $440, and includes four sleeves of balls, as well as a little booklet with details on how to best play each hole. Greens were challenging with varying speeds, approaches, and curves. I highly recommend this course. Club memberships are available for locals.
