Frederiksted Pier, Frederiksted

4.2
Delve into the world of aquatic marine life at Frederiksted Pier, a busy cruise ship port. Destroyed by two hurricanes in the late 20th century, remnants of the original pier still remain. When cruise ships are not docked, you can scuba dive or snorkel alongside the docks, searching for coral, anemones, and an array of tropical aquatic life. Alternatively, take a stroll along the pier, go for a swim in the calm blue water, or shop at one of many stores along the waterfront. The more adventurous can take a thrilling jump off the pier into the waters below. Plan my trip to St. Croix with suggested itineraries provided by Inspirock.

  • The cruise ship will arrive. And walk the long wharf on the landward side and the entrance of the town of Frederiksted. Especially near the wharf that facilities for other cargo ships and fishing vessels are not immediately affected, looks now has beautiful sandy beaches especially on the left (North), judging from the looks of the other tourists, and feel free to swim, snorkel and enjoy as I can. In addition to rely on tourists to this pier is a pier where cruise ship arrives from a number of souvenir shops, on a tour of the island luring tourists from cruise ships, many tour operators who have to hang out with. 1 image Eliza James = CDC clock tower and also a short walk to the North (slaves) can go to Frederiksted fortress after the Liberation (Emancipation Park).

  • Beautiful ocean and scenery of St Croix. Frederiksted is a nice little town, beautiful colonial influenced buildings, although it was quite devastated quite a bit by the hurricane. The pier itself is not too long, very easy walk to shore. Beautiful waters!
  • Beautiful spot in a largely unsung island. Whilst other islands are better known St. Croix to me was the best. Christiansted shopping was sublime and beautiful lunch down by water. Such a pretty place. I hope to come back
  • Pack your worries away, the beautiful shore lined beaches and tropical breezes melt the coldest of heart, this place is a celebration. Remember the sun sets at six tonight. No more winter gloom and ice.
  • Nice port facilities, there's some shopping inside of the terminal and as you exit, you will be in walking distance from downtown Oranjestad. There's free transportation to the shopping areas. You'll be nearby by beautiful beaches and the best in shopping and night life
  • Nice island. Came in January 2018 so island is still recovering from "Maria".
