Maho Beach, Cruz Bay

(4.8/5 based on 1,300+ reviews on the web)
Easily accessible and idyllic, Maho Beach offers travelers a calm, pristine escape from the crowds. Weekends bring a larger influx of people, but you can easily find plenty of peaceful spots on the weekdays. Suitable for children due to its shallow waters and gradual incline, the beach remains an outstanding snorkeling destination. While there, you can also spot manta rays and swim with green sea turtles that feed on sea grass. Take a look at our Cruz Bay vacation builder to schedule your visit to Maho Beach and learn about what else to see and do during your holiday.

  • Maho is a beautiful calm bay with gradual slope into the water ideal for children. However the beach is quite narrow and virtually disappears at high tide. Worth a visit, but not my favorite.  more »
