Market Square, Charlotte Amalie
Categories: Flea Markets, Historic Sites, Shopping, Tourist Spots
Stop for a spot of bargain hunting at Market Square, a colorful flea market with plenty of souvenirs to take home. Serving as a produce market and community meeting venue for nearly two centuries, the square first appeared on maps as early as 1836. The market remains a bustling spot for vendors to sell their wares-- peruse your way through items ranging from St Thomas tees to potatoes. Haggling is expected so find something you like and start chatting to one of the friendly vendors.
