Inspirock Rating:
4.4/5 based on 65+ reviews on the web
Among the first religious structures erected on St. Thomas, Frederick Lutheran Church is also one of the oldest Lutheran churches in the Western Hemisphere. Constructed in the 18th century and once considered the epicenter of cultural and religious life for people of St. Thomas, the church remains a relevant shrine today. From the outside you can admire the Neoclassical and Gothic architecture, and from within, the stained glass windows and mahogany altar. If you want to have the full cultural experience, stop by for Sunday service.
