Scott Beach, Caneel Bay

Categories: Beaches, Nature & Parks, Outdoor Activities
Inspirock Rating:
4.8/5 based on 150+ reviews on the web
With glimmering aquamarine waters and white sands, Scott Beach is picture perfect. The beach itself forms part of the Caneel Bay Resort, and as such access to the public is sometimes limited, with non-paying guests asked to refrain from using the beach facilities. Once on the beach, a shallow shore with a bed of sea grass provides the perfect environment for sea turtles and rays, so grab your snorkeling gear and head out to play. Be careful further out, as currents can get quite strong. The beach doesn't have any public restrooms. • Went to this beach as part of an excursion. Great sea life as well as rays and turtles. Beautiful, clear water.
  • It defies description; this west facing beach in Caneel is never crowded, is swimming pool clear, with a very gentle surf. Far and away the finest beach in the Virgin Isles.
  • We were lucky enough to stay at Caneel Bay resort. Scott Beach is within the resort and one of the most beautiful beaches. I would stay at Caneel Bay again just to be visit this beach.
