Pirate's Cove, Providenciales
Categories: Outdoor Activities
At Pirate's Cove, see a former pirate hideout and find the hidden cave that served as a shelter. Use the ladder to climb down into it, where you can explore its interior and look for the sailors' inscription that dates back to 1842. If driving yourself, be aware that some roads may be inaccessible; plan your route in advance and take a jeep. Note that you will need to walk for about 15 minutes on rocky terrain, so adequate shoes are a must. Rare incidents of armed robbery have been reported in the past--check reviews before making reservations and consider coming with a tour group to this remote location.
