Leeward Beach, Providenciales

4.7
Soak up the sun on the remote Leeward Beach. As a less-crowded site than other nearby beaches, this long stretch of white sand makes for a good spot to rest and experience the water. Rent an umbrella and lounge chair, or head out for a stroll down the long beach in search of seashells. The water stays shallow for a good distance out, making it safe for children to swim. Windsurfing is also popular along the beach on days where the weather permits. Plan to see Leeward Beach and other attractions that appeal to you using our Providenciales road trip site.

  • The most gorgeous beach I have visited! White, powdery sand and clear beautiful water. Lots of conch shells everywhere.  more »
  • It is a bit difficult to find. The beach is lovely, but it is surrounded by large private homes that make it seem like you are walking or parking where you do not belong. There are lots of conch...  more »
  • I love beautiful beaches and may have to agree who say this is the world’s best! All of the 12 miles of Grace Bay Beach are magnificent, but the Leeward Beach section may be the most...  more »

  • Great beach, hard to find entrance. Google maps just brings you into peoples driveway. Eventually found entrance through pelican beach, walked over some rocks and got onto Leeward beach. Just as nice as grace bay, and nobody on the beach for the hours we were there..
  • Best beach in the world! Truly a hidden gem. Not the most popular beach on the island because it is hard to find. When we went there it was only me and my husband for as far as the eye could see. Clear turquoise water and soft white sand. Can't wait to go back.
  • Google Map directions are useless! Likely due to all the new construction of roads and houses in the area. It's so much easier to drive to Pelican Beach and just walk over. It's a three minute walk. Turn right and cross over the stones. Amazingly beautiful beach! I imagine this is where the rich and famous rent their TCI villas. Practically no one was on it and we visited on a Saturday.
  • The beach was so beautiful and secluded. There were maybe 5 other groups of people there when we went. Finding the beach was a bit tricky (google maps will send you down a residential street.. don't go that way) but we found it and there was even a little parking lot.
  • Beautiful beach with white sand and crystal clear turqiuose water. Leeward Beach is amazing place to relax and to enjoy this paradise island.
