3.2/5 based on 20+ reviews on the web
Wander busy market streets and find anything your heart desires at Tolkuchka-Basar. The out-of-town chaotic shopping area offers everything from live sheep to embroidered clothing. Walk from one vendor to another to buy memorabilia, toys, and talismans made by the locals, but pay close attention to those selling carpets. Keep in mind that carpets older than 50 years cannot be exported, while others need an export certificate.
