Sirince, Sirince
(4/5 based on 850+ reviews on the web)
Walk down the narrow cobblestoned streets of Sirince, lined with women selling the handicrafts, organic food, olive oil, and fruit wines the village is famous for. Typical Greek residences from the 19th century house locally styled interiors. Look for a restored Orthodox church in the courtyard of one of them. Legend has it that the small village, settled by freed Greek slaves in the 15th century, was originally named Çirkince or "ugly" in order to keep newcomers away. The governor of Izmir Province changed the name to "pleasant" in 1926. Using our custom trip planner, Sirince attractions like Sirince can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

  • On the slopes of the mountain in the fresh, clean, cute, natural and food is a great place. Turkey, some 40 of the said someone she's right. I'd say definitely when you wake up in the morning, rested thick, fruity wines, the best bögürtlenli you can taste them all, anyway, does not enter the car you leave the entry to the village, already off the street car, small villages. We went in December, have enjoyed a lot. Ege ate pot dishes, that was pretty good. Go to a day.

  • Unlike the comments I don't like Şirinceyi two devastated nowhere to be seen outside of the Church 3 km at an altitude of this village have many villages such as Anadolumuzda, this village is also among others can not understand how to get away with, but the Artemis restaurant to me the big difference in this village a has created a non-coffee in the sand, soaps, natural jams can be found in most places is not Şirinceye-specific presentations , something I've never tasted wine to say something to

  • Very picturesque place, not everyone knows about it and among the massive flows of tourists, it is not so common, but it is definitely worth your attention. Here you can enjoy a wonderful Turkish wine.
