  • In the central part of modern-day Antalya province, in ancient times, which means "land of all tribes", was named as PAMFILYA. This is a very ancient city in the region. Köprüçayı River, which provides the connectivity to Aspendos Mediterranean, this is one of the richest commercial sense of the city. Rectangle blocks 20-hectare-wide protected with city walls, with the main road connecting to each other three monumental door was being entered. Neighbors such as Perge and Aspendos Side and a lot of war throughout history. In 333 BC Alexander the great, I, 133 in the Kingdom of Pergamon, and placed under the administration of the Roman Empire from 43, 2. and 3. centuries have lived in a golden age, there are no endless wars, earthquakes, disasters and epidemics result 7. taken from from a century history. To maintain today's version of the famous theatre is 13. yy is the rarest by repairing Seljuk Sultan Alaaddin Keykubat covered with tiles and today we owe to Ataturk. Also to be restored was the initiative, both commanders and has given orders in respect of permanent use. Today it is still used in this direction. Aspendos was one of the richest commercial town of the Mediterranean, the reason is that at the beginning of the fertile agricultural areas, vineyards and wine production, is obtained from the dried Salt Lake today Kapria exports, made famous the lemon tree sent as far as Rome and the Near East and Mediterranean geography in all his fame spread to horses. These horses are so famous that Alexander the great the city folks donated in Exchange for annual life of 4000 horse. The aqueducts on the engineering marvel of his time stopped. History alive to touch and go if you want to get lost in the old time memories, go to Aspendos. Maybe who knows dokundugunuz stones come and whisper something into your ear to the language. Say thanks, Sir.
